KALYNIVKA

The modern emblem

It was confirmed in January, 26th, 2009 by the decision of XXII city council session.

Gules; sun with a human face or. Base vert; arrow split argent and four eight-pointed stars or on the both sides of it. The shield is enframed by or cartouche and crowned by argent urban crown with three prongs.
Sun is ancient emblem of Podillya. Arrow is a symbol of the movement, lifting, it is element of the Kalynovs'kyi emblem. Stars represent the four villages included in the modern city - Varshytsya, Vil'hova, Kalynivka, Shevchenivka. Gules color on the shield symbolizes the viburnum, vert means plain, where Kalynivka is based.
