SLOVITA
The first data about it refers to 1442. First settlement was on mountains Ozerna and Maidan. On the village north side is mountain Svyata ("Sacred"), on which is the figure of the Virgin. On the village territory was the oldest monastery of sisters-Basyl in Halychyna, and wooden church of the Cross; it was destroyed - on its place now is the chapel. In the village west and east are two churches - Ioann Bohoslov and St.Apostles Peter and Pavel. If to spend lines which connect temples, it will be figure in the shape of cross.
