The modern emblem
It was confirmed in December, 19th, 2008 by the decision of XIV region council session of V convocation.
Gules escutcheon; helmet of Kyiv Rus' warrior or turned to dexter. Bend sinister argent; azure, three flowers of azalea or; gules, branch of hop or. The shield is enframed by wreath from oak and hop leaves with viburnum, twisted by blue-and-yellow strip with description "Olevs'kyi region". In the crest is decorative composition or with flax flowers azure.
