The flag
It was confirmed in April, 20th, 2000 by the decision #16/4 of city council session.
It is rectangular panel with sides ratio 2:3, in the left staff corner is flag of Donets'ka oblast'. On the panel are four star - green, white, yellow and black. Green star symbolizes riches of natural edge. White symbolizes spiritual traditions. Yellow symbolizes metallurgical industry. Black symbolizes coal industry.
