BIL'CHE ZOLOTE
It is located on the coast of Seret river. The first mention refers to 1482. In the end of ХVI century the city belonged to Potoc'kyis who owned it to the beginning of XIX century. Occurrence an adjective "Zolote" (Gold) was connected to folk legend. Peasants who lived in fertile river valley, hard worked on owner. And he picked up gold in chests and hid it in the fortress. But princess Bila has stolen treasures and distributed gold to poor men. Having learned about it, owner has called advice of dukes and decided to immure princess in a wall. With Bila were hidden the truth, will, and happiness. But the village began to use name Bil'che Zolote.
