The modern emblem

It was confirmed in August, 21st, 1999 by the decision #9 of village council session.

Quarterly by barrulet Azure. First and fourth Or; bull heads. Secont and third Vert; sunflowers Sable with petals Or.
The agriculture is main and defining sort of economic activities of Zelenyi Yar inhabitants. Here is advanced as large animal industries (is exhibited by heads of a bull), and plant growing, including cultivation oil-bearing crops (it is reflected by silhouette of blossoming sunflower).
The colours mean:
- vert - character of an agriculture and plant growing,
- or - character of oof and fertility of local grounds,
- azure - Karatyk river.
