It was confirmed in April, 12th, 2002 by the decision of region council session. Vert; or constellation of Orion (the Ukrainian name - the Gold Plough constellation). The board is edged by a wreath from oak foliage and ears of wheat, twisted by azure tape, in the wreathes is bread on embroidered Ukrainian towel. The motto: or words "Bread, song, freedom" on an azure tape.
In the ancient times this land was occupied by Scythians-farmers. For Christmas - one of the basic Christian holidays - the constellation of Orion almost touches horizon, as if the Gold Plough - a gift of gods to people.
