It was confirmed in July, 31st, 1989 by the decision of village council session. Azure; reversed point gules. The point is charged by argent gear, the flame or accompanied by the ear and oak leaf or. In the base is cossack sabre or. The argent chief is charged by the sable city name. The sabre designates, that the city has arisen on a place old Cossack settlement which were created for the defence of the lands against attacks of nomads. The oak leaf symbolizes occurrence of settlement in an environment of oak woods and connection with the wood industry. Wheaten ear is a symbol of a life, well-being, generosity of the ground.
