IVANO-FRANKIVS'KA OBLAST'

The flag

It was confirmed in July, 26th, 2001 by the decision of oblast' council session.

On the rectangular white panel with a ratio of the sides 2:3 is black daw with lifted wings in the or (yellow) crown, inverted to a staff. From a staff are red and black strips, from free edge are blue and yellow strips, the width of each of them equals to 1/10 lengths of a flag. Strips personify traditions of struggle for independence.
