It was confirmed in December, 22nd, 2017 by the decision #14 of XIV village council session of VII convocation. The shield is divided by wave cost Argent. Azure; sixteen-ray sun Or. Gules; heraldic rose Argent with leaves Or. Shield is entered into the decorative cartouche Or and crowned by village crown Or. At the bottom of the cartouche is the inscription "ZHAHLIVKA".
The sun is a symbol of Podillya, the rose is part of the Mnishek's family coat of arms, the owners of the village. The coast is the symbol of Zbruch river. The author is P.Voitaluk. Image on site V.Napytkin.
