The modern emblem
It was confirmed in December, 23d, 2016 by the decision #15 of XVII village council session of VII convocation.
Or; paly by endorses Sable, with wavy base Azure; eight-pointed star Gules. The shield is inscribed in decorative cartouche Or and crowned by village crown Or. Below the cartouche is inscription "SELYTSHIV".
The eight-pointed star is symbol of the Virgin; dissection of field symbolizes the wooden church of the Virgin. Wavy base means Kortshyk river.
