It was confirmed in September, 16th, 2016 by the decision of village council session. Per fess enchanced by Or and Azure. On the line of separation water mill per fess by Vert and Or with needles in the form of oak leaves, accompanied in base by fish Argent. The shield is enframed by decorative cartouche and crowned by village crown Or. Below the cartouche is inscription "STRYHANY".
The wheel is a symbol of water mills that existed in the village; needles in the form of oak leaves are sign of forests. Azure and fish mean deep lake. The author is V.Napytkin.
