The modern emblem
It was confirmed in September, 15th, 2015 by the decision #2/2015 of LVII village council session of IV convocation.
Per pale. Vert; St. Nicholas in dress Argent with embroidery Or, in the episcopal miter, in right hand he holds bishop's scepter Or, in the left hand he holds Bible Or. Or; phoenix Gules. The shield is enframed by cartouche Or with inscriptions "VOLYTSIA" and "1593" and crowned by village crown Or.
Vert is a symbol of fields and forests. St. Nicholas is a symbol of the church of St. Nicholas, the patron of the village. Phoenix means the revival of the village, which was burned down during the Second World War. Crown means the status of the village. 1593 is year of the first written mention about the village.
