It was confirmed in August, 28th, 2015 by the decision #1 of XLVIII village council session of VI convocation. Per fess. Azure; eight-pointed star, faceted by Or and Argent. Or; flowers of chicory Azure. The shield is enframed by cartouche Or and crowned by village crown Or. At the bottom of the cartouche are inscriptions "Marachivka" and "1520".
The main figure, eight-pointed star, is the symbol of the Virgin. Two colors of stars mean two religious communities of the village. Flower of chicory is one of the major crops that are grown in the village. Crown means the status of the village. 1520 is year of the first written mention about village.
