It was confirmed in July, 30th, 2003 by the decision #IV/10-134 of region council session.
Vert; Antony cross Azure with bordure Or, charged by flying swallow, accompanied in the chief by seven four-pointed stars Or arched, in base by ear Or. The shield is enframed by wreath from sunflowers and oak leaves, entwined by ribbon Azure with inscription "Boikivs'kyi region."
