ZHOVTI VODY

The flag

It was confirmed in March, 2nd, 2005 by the decision of city council session.

Square panel is divided diagonally from the free top corner on two equivalent triangular fields. On top red is yellow stylized piece of ore in the center of three oval electron orbits, on the bottom blue are two crossed white Cossack sabres points down, on the bottom of flag is engrailed yellow line (the dividing line is on distance of 1/7 width of the flag).
Red color represents the growth and development of the city, azure - the grandeur and beauty of the region, yellow reflects the glorious historical past of the city and underlines its name.
