It was confirmed in June, 21st, 2001 by the decision of region council session.
Chevron Argent. First Vert; two beech nuts with leaves Or in corners. Second Azure; carp Or. The shield is crowned by territorial crown Or. Supporters: in the right lion Or with tongue Gules, in the left bull Or with horns Gules. Under the shield ribbon Vert with inscription "Zastavnivs'kyi region."
