The modern emblem
It was confirmed in December, 18th, 2003 by the decision of region council session.
Wavy bend Argent. First Vert; two sheaves Or in saltire. Second Azure; sword and arrow Or edge down in saltire. The shield is crowned by crown Or with embattlements in the form of viburnum leaves and ears and framed by oak branches with leaves Vert and acorns Or and clusters of viburnum with leaves Vert and berries Gules. The branches are entwined by ribbon Argent with inscription "Chornobaivs'kyi region" Sable.
