The modern emblem
It was confirmed in December, 25th, 2003 by the decision of region council session.
Per fess with bordure Or. First Vert; cornucopia and caduceus in saltire. Second Azure; ear Or, on its background the image of tower with the symbolic burning gas flare at the bottom. The shield is crowned by nine ears Or and framed by a decorative wreath Or from oak leaves, entwined by ribbon Azure.
