It was confirmed in January, 11th, 2002 by the decision of region council session.
Or; sycamore leaf Vert, on the arched base Azure arched barrulet Argent. The shield is crowned by tryzub on the decor of region thread. Supporters: on the right Archangel Michael Or with a sword in hand, on the left armed lion Or. On the ribbon Azure is inscription "Yavorivs'kyi region" Or.
