NOVOTROITS'KYI REGION

The flag of 1998-2015

It was confirmed in November, 25th, 1998 by the decision #64 of IV region council session of XXIII convocation.

Rectangular panel with sides ratio 1:2 consists of three horizontal stripes - blue, yellow, red - in the ratio of 13:1:8. In the center is yellow ear in height of 2/3 of the flag.
Blue color symbolizes the peaceful and friendly nature of inhabitants. Middle strip and ear symbolize main wealth district - grain bread. Red symbolizes the commitment to collectivism, power boards, the memory about heroic and tragic past of our people.
