The modern emblem

It was confirmed in November, 3d, 2006 by the decision #71-7/V of region council session.

Azure; couped point Vert on base Azure, above which rises sun Or, on the top of point is horseman-cossack Argent. At the top of the shield sunflowers Or with middle Argent, over which ear Or in pale, wreathed by ribbon Gules. In the base bunch of viburnum Gules with leaves Vert.
The Cossack on top of the mound returns to the history of the region, which dates back to the XVI-XVII century. Sunflower and corn are main crops grown in the area. Azure base symbolizes three rivers - Kamyanka, Bazavluk and Saksahan'. Vert and viburnum brush symbolize the beauty of nature.
