MALYN

The modern emblem

It was confirmed in June, 13th, 2001 by the decision of city council session.

Vert; two pillars - or and azure - over which is scroll of paper argent, over which flies dove argent, under the roll is date 891 argent. On the chief embatted argent is name "Malyn" vert.
Vert background means the forest region. A sheet of paper is a symbol of the ancient history and the main products of urban industry. Dove is the symbol of freedom, pride and indomitable spirit. 891 means the date of city foundation. Tape of Ukrainian flag is confirmation of the state status.
