It was confirmed in April, 25th, 2003 by the decision of region council session.
Rectangular panel with a parity of the parties 2:3 consists of three equal horizontal strips - blue, yellow, green. Colors of a flag characterize the peace sky, a fruitful field, wood, the basic natural landscapes of Polissya, well-being and riches of edge.
