NOVA VODOLAGA

The first mention refers to 1572. The founder of village was colonel Hryhir Donets'. "Adalaga" is the Tatar word, "the owner of pure water". Vogolaga is the name of small river which has denominated settlement. For a long time the basic employment of inhabitants were silkworm breeding and pottery. The village was the centre of pottery in the Kharkiv province.
