KAMIN'-KASHYRS'KYI
The first mention refers to 1196. The founder of city is the Volyn' prince Roman Mstyslavovych. In 1241 the city was grasped by the Lithuanian princedom, it became possession Lubart Hedymynovych. From beginning of XV century it was mentioned in written sources as the property of Lithuanian princes Sanhyshky-Kashyrs'ky.
The Magdeburg Right was given in 1540.
After the Lublin Union in 1569 the city and surrounding territories pass under authority of Poland. After section of Poland the city was a part of Russia. After the Riga 1921 peace treaty the city has again passed under authority of Poland and has been included in Polissya district of Pins'k region. During II world war there where guerrilla groups, and the school of Ukrainian Insurgent Army foremen.
