The modern emblem
It was confirmed in March, 21st, 2003 by the decision of region council session.
Azure; argent brick gate accompanied by walls. In the gate art three ancient warriors - one with sword, right with plough, left with hammer. The author is F.Kolotjuk.
Name "Ratne" come from "Rat'" - army. There are not warriors only, but craftsmen and peasants too. The gate means frontier.
