The emblem of the russian period

It was confirmed in January, 22nd, 1796. Gules; on the rocky mountain is the fortress with two towers and the central one destroyed, to signify the fact the town was the chief of the Bratslavs'kyi district. Still before 1616 and in the days of the king Alexander a castle was built in it. The castle was destroyed by the different confusions and sieges. To denote the joining of the region to the Empire was used picture of the State emblem, with the already described emblem of Bratslav. Image on site C.Bohatov.
