The modern emblem
It was confirmed in December, 25th, 2002 by the decision #IV/4-59 of region council session.
Per fess, with monument Sable in pall. First Azure; clouds and tractor Argent. Second Vert; part of sunflower with leaves Or and furrows Sable. The shield is enframed by ears Or, entwined by blue and yellow ribbon with inscription "Shakhtars'kyi region."
