PONINKA

The modern emblem

It was confirmed in October, 19th, 1999 by the decision #4 of IX village council session.

The shield per pale by or and azure and has the argent chief and wave base, argent cartouche in the form a paper. There is terracotta moose in it. In the chief is a gules name "Poninka", in base are three cyan wave barrulets and gules number "1787". Three belts mean the rough river Homora, 1787 - year of the basis of a settlement. Cartouche and crown symbolize historical times of entity of a settlement, fur-tree symbolize wood and paper industry.
