It was confirmed in September, 28th, 2000 by the decision #100 of region council session.
Vert with an Azure-Gules bordure quarterly by Byzantine cross Or, in chief church Argent. First; two linden leaves and spruce Argent. Second; mineral springs Argent. Third; unfolded scroll and quill pen Argent. Fourth; head of a deer Argent. In the escutcheon symbolic image Synevyr lake. On ribbon Azure inscription Or in two lines on the Ukrainian and English - "Mizhgirya district. Mizhgirian region."
