VERKHOVYNS'KYI REGION

The modern emblem

It was confirmed in April, 29th, 1999 by the decision of region council session.

Per fess abaised by Azure and Vert. From second part growing out fir-tree Vert, charged by fir-tree Or, on it flower Argent with edges of the petals and core Gules, with stem and leaves Vert. On the first part three mountains, the middle is highest, Argent and Azure. On the sides of the shield are two hatchets blade outside, on the top blue-yellow ribbon with round Sable-Or emblem with Tryzyb.
