POPASNYANS'KYI REGION

The modern emblem

It was confirmed in July, 30th, 2003 by the decision of region council session.

Bend sinister Gules; on it are spike and five guards Or - two above and three below. First Vert; two letters "E" Or. Second Purple; hammer and wrench Or in saltire, under it is wheelset. On the base above two hills Vert rises sun Or with rays. The shield is surrounded by a wreath of oak leaves, entwined by yellow-ans-blue ribbon with inscription "Popasnyans'kyi region" and the date "1977".
