It was confirmed in December, 16th, 2003 by the decision of region council session. Vert; eagle Or with spread wings on the top of the base mountains, above the eagle is boykivs'kyi flower Or. The shield is crowned by crown Or in the form of a Tryzub in a wreath of beech leaves and framed by blue and yellow ribbon with clusters of viburnum. Under the shield are two axes Or in saltire. Supporters: two strikers, on the right man with a hatchet, on the left prince with a sword. On ribbon motto Azure is inscription "Skolivs'kyi region" Or. The author is A.Hrechylo.
