The emblem of the austrian period
It was confirmed on XIX century.
Argent, among the field with ears is vert mountain, on which is gules castle with a gate and three towers.
It is interesting to note, that a city gate on the arms always represented opened - for fugitives from the Tatar arrivals it always were such until the last minute.
