KANIVKA

The modern emblem

It was confirmed in October, 17th, 2018 by the decision #3-47/2018 of XLVII city council session.

Vert; sword Argent in bend cuts the lighting Or in bend sinister. In the chief and base rhombuses Argent, on the sides rhombuses Or. Shield is entered into the decorative cartouche Or and crowned by village crown Or. At the bottom of the cartouche is the inscription "KANIVKA".
The coat of arms symbolizes the legend about the first settler who cut the lightning by a sword, thus securing the village from lightning, and placed four protective stones on the four corners of the village.
