It was confirmed in May, 20th, 2009 by the decision #476 of village council session. Fillet saltire Or, stranded in the middle by ring Or, divides the shield into 4 parts: Gules, Vert, Vert, Sable. First; connected couped chevrons crowned by formy cross Or. Second and third; bee-keeping log Or. Fourth; oak Or. The shield is enframed by decorative cartouche Or and crowned by village crown Or.
The emblem symbolizes the origin of the name (it uses Abdank emblem of Hetman Bohdan Khmelnyts'kyi) and a significant railway junction (cross in ring). Oak symbolizes the Black Forest, which is located near the village. The authors are V.E.Kryvenko, K.V.Shlahovyi. Image on site C.Bohatov.
