It was confirmed in January, 23d, 1991 by the decision of city council session. Per fess by Purple and Azure, fortress Argent with roof Or on mountain Vert. Over the fortress is kumanets' (a kind of a jar) Argent framed by Or and decorated by flowers Or.
Azure and purple colors denote Podillia which the town belongs to and Volyn' which it belonged to some time ago.
