The modern emblem
It was confirmed in March, 21st, 2003 by the decision of region council session.
Azure; rising sun Or over the symbolic channel Argent. In the chief three stars Or in fess, middle is large. Shield bordure is decorated by ornament from spikes Or. Shield is enframed by decorative cartouche with inscription "Kahovs'kyi region" on ribbon Or.
