The modern emblem
It was confirmed in September, 24th, 1999 by the decision of region council session.
Per fess. First Argent; sheaf of wheat tied by ribbon Azure, flanked by oak leaves Vert, below wavy fess Azure. Second Purple; crowned snakes Or in pale. The shield is crowned by stylized gear, above it sunrise and ears of wheat, and framed by a wreath from oak leaves and ears, entwined by blue and yellow tape.
