The modern emblem

It was confirmed in December, 28th, 1998 by the decision of region council session.

Per pale. First Vert; chamois Or on its hind legs. Second Gules; apple Or pierced vertically by sword Argent with handle Or. The shield is crowned by territorial crown Or from stylized pine shoots, over which is blue banner with tryzub Or, and framed by cartouche Or. Supporters: two armed lions Or. Under the shield is blue and yellow ribbon, on the center of it is emblem SAS.
