NOVOPSKOVS'KYI REGION

The modern emblem

It was confirmed in June, 22nd, 2001 by the decision of region council session.

Per fess wavy. First Or; Cossack saber Azure belt blade up in fess. Second Azure; three bees Or in fess. On the escutcheon Vert sheaf of ears and sunflowers, tied by ribbon Gules. Under the shield is jug Or from which pours water. The shield is surrounded by a wreath from spikes Or and three peony flower Gules in dexter base and viburnum clusters Gules in sinister base. Wreath is entwined by blue and yellow ribbon with inscription "Novopskovs'kyi region."
