It was confirmed in April, 29th, 2005 by the decision #7 of XXII city council session. Azure; Cossack peak or per bend with tip argent edge up, above it is formy cross gules with bordure and beams or, below it is anchor-cat argent twisted by the rope. The shield enframed by or cartouche and crowned by urban crown argent.
Gules cross with beams and peak remind about the first Cossack settlements. The argent anchor means a cargo mooring, which was constructed on the bank of Southern Bug in the end of XIX century. The authors are I.Yanushkevych, R.Kochkurov, M.Shtompel'. Image on site V.Napytkin.
