The modern emblem
It was confirmed in May, 25th, 2001 by the decision #15/18 of region council session.
Vert with bordure azure; bison or. The shield enframed by or cartouche.
The bison is symbol of Volyn' population. The bison symbolizes prosperity, fertility, force and health. The azure is a part of the arms of Ukraine, symbolizes the peace. Vert displays the rich nature of our region.
