The modern emblem

It was confirmed in September, 29th, 2005 by the decision #162 of XXXV city council session.

Gules, per pale; chief Azure. On the chief are grapes and laurel branches Or in saltire; on the first part are two fesses Azure; over first and second parties goes lion Or, his head is turned to sinister. The shield is framed by decorative cartouche Or and crowned by crown Argent with palm branch Or. Supporters: two seahorses Or. On ribbon Argent inscription "Yalta urbs meridial" (Yalta is the southern capital).
