The flag
It was confirmed in March, 16th, 2004 by the decision of oblast' council session.
The rectangular panel with a ratio of the sides as 5:7. At the centre on a red background is a white cross, which concerns by the ends of a flag edges. In a right top corner is paty cross, one of most ancient variants of historical Volyn' crosses at XV-XVIII centuries.
