It was confirmed in July, 18th, 2018 by the decision #646 of XXXIV city council session of VIII convocation. Per fess abaised, the secont part fitched in the shape of arch. Argent; eight-ray comet Gules with a tail pointing upwards. Vert; two scythes Argent in bend snd bend sinister, points down. The emblem is inscribed in a decorative cartouche Or and crowned by village crown Or. At the bottom of the cartouche is the inscription "LUHOVA".
Scythes on the green field symbolize the name of the village ("luh" means "meadow"), the comet means the well-known Illintsi astroblem, a trace from the fall of the meteorite. The authors are T.Herman, C.Bohatov, V.Napytkin. Image on site C.Bohatov, V.Napytkin.
