It was confirmed in October, 13th, 2017 by the decision #1-15 of village council session of VII convocation. Per fess enchanced by spiral barrulet Argent, filled by Gules. Gules; three cones of hops Or in fess. Vert; horseshoe Or ears up. The shield is inscribed in a decorative cartouche and crowned by village crown Or. At the bottom of the cartouche is the inscription "KHMELIVKA".
Cones and a spiral in the form of branches of hop ("khmil'") mean the name of the village. Horseshoe is a symbol of diligence and good luck. The author is P.Voitaluk. Image on site V.Napytkin, C.Bohatov.
