It was confirmed in March, 19th, 2012 by the decision #142 of village council session. Azure; Cossack boat Or sails on the waves Or, accompanied in the chief and sides by 3 steppe Schrenk tulips Or; on base Vert plow Or. The shield is enframed by decorative cartouche Or and crowned by village crown Or. At the bottom of the cartouche wavy ribbon Argent with inscription "ZOLOTA BALKA" and the date "1780". Around the ribbon are yellow tulips with green leaves.
Golden boat links history with the present and future, symbolizes the past Cossack settlement, which were outposts of Sich. Three tulip of Schrenk (another name is Scythian tulip) symbolize three villages: Mali Ustya, Velyki Ustya and Zolota Balka that during the creation of the Kahovka reservoir in 1952 were transferred to new place and formed the modern village.
