It was confirmed in November, 1st, 2000 by the decision #135-14/ХХII of region council session. Rectangular panel with sides ratio 2:3 consists of three horizontal stripes - blue, yellow and green (the ratio of width equal to 1:1:1.5), on the middle yellow stripe is region emblem in the white decorative cartouche (the height of the emblem equals to 1/2 of flag width), over shield is white ribbon with the inscription "Kryvoriz'kyi region", under the tape is inscription "1925", the lower part of the emblem has a yellow border.
